Nima Yassini has over 20 years experience in Australian, UK and US digital markets. He has worked in the industry since the dotcom boom, bust and the re-emergence. During this time he has played a pivotal role in the growth and implementation of digital solutions around the world such as HSBC, Bayer, Barclays, Nestle, Coca Cola, Zurich, Tourism SA, Rimmel London.

In 2007, Nima took on the role of Director of Digital services for JWT London where he spearheaded the agency’s integrated digital change management process. On the back of this, Nima was asked to roll out the change management process across the EMEA region.

He began his career in the digital industry at global media agency BMCMedia, during the heady days of the dotcom rise. Whilst at BMC Media, he rose through the ranks to become General Manager of BMCOptimise, one of the first three search engine marketing agencies in the Australian market.

After leaving BMC In late 2003, he was appointed Managing Director of Australia’s top web design and development agency Glass Onion. He grew Glass Onion from a small shop to over 50 employees, with clients ranging from Yum Brands (Pizza Hut, KFC), Flight Centre, AMP, Nestle and Australia’s leading home mortgage provider – Rams Home Loans.

Arriving back to Australia in 2010, Nima founded creative agency New Republique, where he has implemented his international philosophy of building exceptional customer experiences through brand development, user experience design and Conversion rate optimisation.

The agencies current works with accounts including Mortgage Choice, Unilever, Westpac, NAB, Coca Cola, Zurich and many more.

In 2012, Creative Magazine announced Nima as one of the Power 30 Individuals within the advertising industry. He also held a judging position with the globally renowned interactive awards, The Webby Awards.

Nima and his agency also won two awards on the hit ABC TV show, Gruen Planet.
